As if Colorado Spring, Colorado didn’t have enough to worry about these days with wildfires ravaging the area, now there’s a new threat: a giant hungry lizard.
Teller County Sheriff Mike Ensinger warned residents of Woodland Park that the six-foot long lizard, named Dino (what else?), had broken through his leash on Tuesday and crawled away.
The lizard, which has been known to eat small dogs and cats, is currently being hunted by the animal control division of the Sheriff’s Department. Sheriff Ensinger said that if the division is unable to locate the lizard, officers may use a tracking dog.
Let’s hope they use a big one.
